POTTERY 1992-2002

Love of the earth drew me to pottery in the 1992. Working on the wheel I asked the spinning clay what it wanted, slowly allowed it to speak. Subtle adjustments continued until the form came to life. Through experimentation I discovered nuances of glazing. I worked with stoneware, raku, anagama and salt firing. My interest in Japanese Tea ceremony caused me to study the tea bowl deeply. My bowls are exhibited at Archetypes at Sunrise Springs and Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe.
